Key Information and times for Mourning Period

Key Information for the Morning period and Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has been released.

In view of the number of people traveling to and being in the capital at this time and particularly on Monday the Greater London Authority has advised that it would be helpful if hospitality businesses in London, particularly in the city centre, could be ready to open their doors to guests arriving. Details of the funeral route will be published and will be on Govt.uk and the BBC.

The Cabinet Office has published two toolkits:

• Moment of Reflection toolkit
• Royal cypher toolkit

Key times to be aware of:

• Sunday 18th September

A one-minute silence will be held across the UKH at 20.00 on Sunday evening

• Monday 19th September (Bank Holiday)           

Funeral will take place from 11.00 – 12.00

Two-minute silence following the funeral in a period between 11.55-12.00
