Michelle Hazlewood

Partner

I qualified in 1992, joining John Gaunt & Partners in 2000, becoming a Partner in 2003.

A large proportion of my work relates to national development programmes for several of JG&P’s publically listed companies; representing many multi-million pound developments each year.

In addition to the national development programmes I handle less conventional applications for licensed operators such as museum trusts, community redevelopment programmes, sports organisations, boutique and independent cinema operators. I have a wealth of experience to assist you no matter what the situation you are in.

I regularly attend trade body events and have been appointed to the BII’s Yorkshire regional committee.

Both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners have acknowledged my expertise in the field of licensing.

Michelle Hazlewood is a "very dogged and determined practitioner" who provides "friendly and personable client service." She regularly advises large groups such as Marston's on all of its licensing matters. (Chambers and Partners, 2016)
