Institute of Licensing appoints Chief Executive

The Institute of Licensing  (IoL) have announced the appointment of Paul Adams as Chief Executive. The IoL is the professional body for licensing practitioners across the UK, and members include representatives from Licensing Authorities, public sector bodies, operators, and advisors.

Kate Nicholls, National Chair of the IoL, said:

“After a comprehensive and thorough search for a suitable CEO, the Board has found a strong and passionate leader in Paul. His extensive experience in membership organisations, charities and education will help guide the Institute through an important period of growth as we move into the next phase of our journey in developing the Institute as the professional body for licensing practitioners”.

John Gaunt & Partners Partner, Tim Shield, serves as Regional Chair for the North-East Region and sits on the board of directors of the IoL as a whole. Tim looks forward to working with Paul moving forward.
