House of Lords - Select Committee on the Licensing Act 2003 - Day One

On the 5^th July the House of Lords’ Select Committee on the Licensing Act 2003 convened their first evidence session. 

At this first session, evidence was taken from:

• Anna Paige – Head of the Drugs and Alcohol Unit in the Home Office,
• Andy Johnson – Head of Alcohol, Home Office,
• Kate McGavin - Deputy Director of Media and Creativity, Department for Culture, Media and Sport,
• Lindsay Wilkinson - Deputy Director - Drug and Alcohol Policy, Department of Health, and
• Rosanna O’Connor - Director, Alcohol, Drugs & Tobacco, Public Health England.

As previously we have previously reported, the House of Lords published on the 30^th June its call for evidence and invites all interested parties to submit written evidence by 2 September 2016.
