House of Lords - Select Committee on the Licensing Act 2003 - Day One

On the 5th July the House of Lords’ Select Committee on the Licensing Act 2003 convened their first evidence session. 

At this first session, evidence was taken from:

  • Anna Paige – Head of the Drugs and Alcohol Unit in the Home Office,
  • Andy Johnson – Head of Alcohol, Home Office,
  • Kate McGavin - Deputy Director of Media and Creativity, Department for Culture, Media and Sport,
  • Lindsay Wilkinson - Deputy Director - Drug and Alcohol Policy, Department of Health, and
  • Rosanna O’Connor - Director, Alcohol, Drugs & Tobacco, Public Health England.

As previously we have previously reported, the House of Lords published on the 30th June its call for evidence and invites all interested parties to submit written evidence by 2 September 2016.
