Gaming machines and the possible re-designation of 'crane machines'

We are trying to get to the bottom of the implications for all this but we are aware of a recent briefing from BACTA on the apparent re-designation of crane machines which will or may impact on operators who have the relevant machines on their premises and where an additional permit may be required.

In the event there was such an impact, from the briefing it would appear that any new permit or variation to an existing permit should be lodged by 31 August and be in place by the year end.
