Covid 19 - Scotland - Moray Council Occasional licences

At the September Licensing Board Meeting Moray council decided to review the dispensation they had granted in June 2020 to allow open ended occasional licences to enable premise to increase their capacity.

The Board has decided that this will cease on the 8^th December.

Many venues have utilised this dispensation so as to create outside spaces. If the space is to be used going forward and become a formal enhancement of the licence an application will need to be made for a major variation.

Key dates to secure the same before the end of the existing occasionals are:-

• Lodge by 27^th October
• Board meeting 8^th December
