Covid 19 - Automatic right to off sales extended

The Business & Planning Act 2020, both streamlined the Pavement Café regime and afforded those premises which did not already have the ability to provide off-sales, to make such sales without varying their Premises licence. 

The relaxations in respect of Pavement Licences was extended earlier this summer to the end of September 2022. The Government chose to deal separately with the off-sale relaxations. 

The Alcohol Licensing (Coronavirus) (Regulatory Easements) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 have now passed the final Parliamentary hurdle and can now be signed into law in time to extend the off sale provisions to the end of September 2022, in line with the Pavement licence extensions.
