The People's Assembly March & Rally - Saturday, 20th June 2015 - Advice to businesses

The ALMR has alerted us to a Metropolitan Police briefing to business in respect of a national demonstration and festival for Saturday 20th June 2015, entitled ‘End Austerity Now', a protest to demand an alternative to the Government's austerity measures.

This event is expected to attract substantial numbers of people onto the streets of London.

The march will form near the Bank of England, Queen Victoria Street, EC4 from midday with a proposed set off time of 1pm. It will travel along the following route: Queen Victoria Street, New Bridge Street, Fleet Street, The Strand, Whitehall and Parliament Square. The march will culminate with a rally in Parliament Square at approximately 2.30pm which is expected to end at approximately 5.30pm.
