Scotland - Personal Licence Refresher Training - Important Reminder

25 Apr
2014

We make no apology for joining the chorus of concern at the apparent slow take up of the required refresher training for all Scottish personal licence holders. For many, time may be beginning to run out.

There are widespread reports of a very slow or limited uptake in this training which every personal licence holder MUST undertake within 5 years of the grant of their licence. Failure to complete the required training and provide evidence of such training within the prescribed time limits will lead to the automatic revocation of the licence.

It should be noted that loss or revocation of a personal licence prevents the holder from re-applying for five years.

For retained clients we have a programme of refresher training courses underway to ensure that the position is covered.  If we can assist you with the required training or you require further detail of the courses which we are running, please contact our course administrator Laura Mateer on lmateer@john-gaunt.co.uk.
