The BBPA is alerting to ‘the availability of new THINK drink drive campaign materials including a selection of new posters and Facebook images for pubs and bars, designed to encourage customers to make the right choice by not driving after drinking.

The Department for Transport is asking for help from pubs to support this initiative. These posters are available to order from the THINK! shop free of charge here. Those wishing to use the materials are required to register on the website as a ‘road safety professional’ first and then you will be able to order up to ten copies of each poster.

Also available are digital copies of the posters to post on Facebook of the trivia poster, fruit machine and jukebox designs.

Companies and pubs are also able to post these onto a Facebook page to raise awareness of the dangers of drink driving and let customers know their driver friendly drinks deals (i.e. soft drinks for £1). The hashtag #driverfriendly can be used when posting on Facebook. Pubs can also write the drinks deals on the hard copy of the slot machine poster’.

Law correct at the date of publication.
