New mandatory condition (sale of alcohol below the cost of duty plus VAT) implementation - Update

As previously reported, the new mandatory condition seeking to ban the sale of alcohol below the cost of duty plus VAT was delayed beyond its original implementation date.

The relevant Licensing Act 2003 (Mandatory Licensing Conditions) Order 2014 was reported to have been ‘made’ yesterday with the Order coming into force 14 days later i.e. 28 May 2014.
