Licensing Hours Extensions Bill published

Last year, the Licensing Hours Extensions Bill (a Private Members’ Bill) was presented to Parliament by Andrew Ranger MP.

It is a Bill to amend the Licensing Act 2003 so that licensing hours Orders can be made by negative resolution statutory instrument.

The Bill was published earlier this month before its second reading, which was held on 17 January 2025. There are no publications for this sitting as yet and the next formal stage for the Bill passage will be the Committee stage
