John Gaunt & Partners Licensing Solicitors will be delivering a number of training sessions on behalf of the Institute of Licensing over the next couple of months. The courses cover a variety of subjects, including:

Street Trading (Outside London) – 16th July 2024

This one-day street trading training day will be delivered online via Zoom. The day is aimed at everyone who deals with street trading licence applications and enforcement outside London.

Acupuncture, Tattoo & Cosmetic Skin Piercing – 12th September 2024

This one-day course will cover all four areas of skin piercing activity: tattooing, cosmetic piercing, electrolysis, and acupuncture. The course will also discuss the latest trends, caselaw, and methodology in skin piercing legislation.

Preparing for Court (Half Day) – 13th September 2024

This new, half-day, online training will help local authority officers prepare for giving evidence in the Magistrates' Court. It is suitable for anyone with an appeal hearing or anyone preparing to give evidence on a prosecution case.
