JG&P 20 - inaugural charitable event!

You may know that this year sees the 20th anniversary of John Gaunt & Partners having acted for the licensed trade as specialist Licensing solicitors.
To mark this significant milestone we, as a Practice, are planning to run (in this case run being the operative word) or rather participate in a number of charitable events throughout the year, across the whole firm.
We have chosen a number of charities to support locally, initially being Roundabout & the Children’s Hospital Charity. For this event donations are going to the Roundabout Charity that provides shelter, support and life skills to young people.
The first event sees Tim Shield, one of the partners, and Jonathan Pupius our Practice Manger take on the Sheffield Half Marathon this Sunday 12th April.
This may not seem particularly challenging - but neither has previously run over this distance and the course is somewhat demanding as you would expect for the City with seven hills, which as well as rather fittingly taking in the well known restaurant and bar area of Ecclesall Road, there is then an arduous 3 mile climb to The Norfolk Arms at RInginglow! It is then all downhill… possibly metaphorically as well as physically.
