Euro 2020 - start planning ahead
2020
On Friday 12th June 2020, the Euros 2020 will kick off in Rome.
England and Wales will both be competing with Scotland, Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland also hoping to be present if they can navigate the tricky road of the play offs.
With most kick off times commencing between 15.00 and 21.00 GMT it is not likely many pubs would need to consider extending trading hours under Temporary Event Notices.
However, if you are optimistic about a warm summer then it might be time to think about arranging a big screen in your beer garden and perhaps also an outside bar to take pressure off your internal bar serveries – which for the latter would require a Temporary Event Notice if your outside areas are not appropriately licensed already.
If you would like our advice and assistance in these matters, please contact one of our solicitors for further information.
In the meantime, football fans can use the below fixtures (for Wales and England) to plan their summer!
