Draft Licensing Act 2003 (Mandatory Licensing Conditions) Order 2014 published

On 5 February 2014 we confirmed that the Government had published its guidance on banning the sale of alcohol below the cost of duty plus VAT for England and Wales.

By way of update, the draft Licensing Act 2003 (Mandatory Licensing Conditions) Order 2014 detailing the wording of the proposed new mandatory condition relating to the above has now been issued and can be found here.

The Order is likely to come into force on 6 April 2014.
