Covid 19 - What you need to know – Guidance for small marriages and civil partnerships – Updated

Following a statement by the Prime Minister on 31st July, the guidance for small marriages and civil partnerships in England has been updated.

On 17th July the Prime Minister has announced that small wedding receptions, for up to 30 people, could take place from 1st August however this was reversed this decision in an announcement on 31st July in light of data received by the Government.

Ceremonies (involving up to 30 people) can continue to take place in line with Covid-19 secure guidelines, but not Receptions
