Camden Council - Late Night Levy - Update: Consultation downgraded

We have previously reported that Camden Council are in the process of consulting on the implementation of a Late Night Levy.

We can now confirm that the consultation has been downgraded to an informal exercise.

This has followed strenuous lobbying by various bodies including the ALMR who, in particular, raised issues with the Consultation including highlighting that the website link to the documentation did not work which may have invalidated the results.

A report will now be produced to Councillors in September as to whether a formal consultation should be launched.
