Camden Council - Late Nigh Levy - Update

As we have earlier reported Camden are in the process of consulting on the implementation of a Late Night Levy, the proposed hours being midnight to 6am.

The Consultation period closed on the 8 May 2015 with in excess of 180 responses being received up to the very last day. The broad consensus appears to be in favour of the introduction of a Levy, however, further analysis will be possible once they have been fully collated and the results / recommendations published.

At this moment, the issue is still on schedule to be discussed and voted upon by the Council in the autumn. A firmer timetable should be available in late June after all the consultation responses have been collated and considered.
